What's your biggest complaint as a surfer?

The thing I can't stand the most is a web page that takes more than 3 seconds to load with a broadband cable connection.

I don't care if I am researching a very important topic and think I found the link to what I need.

If I don't see something, anything, at least the header of the page within 3 seconds, I hit the back button and go elsewhere.

Same here, slow loads are 10 second count downs, then click red box.
And links that go to nothing at all to my search related topic. those piss me off also

Impossibly complex pages with tons and tons of links, all of which turn out to be PPC or redirects to something unrelated to the site.

Pages that require plugins or software updates. let someone else be on the bleeding edge.

A page full of google adsense blocks and content mostly unrelated to my search that got me there.

Pages on sites that claim to offer free information / content / material / whatever where 100% of the links go to a signup page.

Sites that show me a page, let me select something, and then at the end go "oh, you aren't in the US, we can't show you this". if you have geo enough to know where I am, use it earlier in the process morons!

I would like to know what all the bullshit is running around in the background on a webpage, slowing my load times down, and generally pissing me off.

(Plus the daily calls from my parents expecting me to answer for every internet goofy thing out there....as if I'm responsible, or have the answer.)

Pop up hell doesn't really annoy me unles it forces me to shut down my computer or soemthing liek that. I used to habitually use 3-4 exit pops minimum and occassionaly use like a 7 or 8 chain of exit consoles back in the day. LOL So I really can't complain about it now. ;)

I am in the monority with this, but there is a percentage of us that has trouble with movement - ads, smileys, flashing text, etc. I have enough trouble watching the news on TV where there is a constant background movement. But when I am trying to read something on a site, movement can be a deal breaker.
