Playboy Up in Arms Over Jenna Retirement Speech

Jenna Jameson’s Saturday night retirement speech at the AVN Awards was hardly tactful, and left many porners and fans with a sour taste. I hear that Jenna had a specific clause in her contract with Playboy (the one that governed her sale of Club Jenna to Playboy) that forbids her from making such announcements.

Club Jenna has dozens of Jenna sex scenes in the can, poised to be released gradually over the next few years. Her speech turns them into "old footage," when otherwise the audience would have been none the wiser.
Playboy has already served Showtime with an injunction preventing them from airing the AVN Awards with Jenna’s speech included. Playboy is in major damage control mode. I hear they are looking at this possibly as their loophole out of the terrible Club Jenna acquisition.

Personally I think it makes people anticipate the release of the scenes even more. A countdown so to speak.

She's not the same person since her divorce.

Physically, there's obvious changes. She has publicly blamed it on stress of the divorce. Looks a little worse than that to me and it's been a while now. If that's the case, she needs help.

But there's a personality change as well. She was a very shrewd business lady and really made all the right moves to build herself as a brand. Now, she seems almost random, no calculation or forethought at all.

Dont know if there's depression, dependency or what going on, but from the outside looking in, she needs to get some help.

In my mind, she has proven herself to be less than bright when it comes to dealing with all of this. She has alienated the people dealing with her, and basically has turned herself into porn kryponite. Nobody will touch her or her products anymore, because she has shown the one thing that kills all porn girls in the end: She flaked.

Jenna, don't let the porn door hit your well used ass on the way out.

It's amazing how on top of the world she used to be. I actually think she was a great representative of the industry so to speak and was real poised when being interviewed by the mainstream.

The torch has been passed and I think it officially happened at the awards. Tera and/or Stormy will be taking over IMO. Hopefully when the time comes for them to head out, they'll be a little more graceful about it.

Perhaps the Shrewd business acumen came from Jay ?? They made a good team, brains and beauty. Since the divorce it has been all self destruct.
