Im not around enough consistantly to properly take care of a pet.

thank you, I feel so stupid Im having a really hard time with it. I was his care giver for the last month meds 4 x a day, cleaning his wounds, getting up for him in the middle of the night. I feel a emptiness now life is so quiet. Also I held him when they gave him the shot, feeling his heart stop amd his little body go limp. I shouldnt of done that,I feel its going to be with me for a while. Your right nonpet people look at me like im nuts.

I know how you feel too, we just had to put our Doberman Spirit to sleep due to intestinal cancer. She was only 10 years old :(. My thoughts are with you and hope you can find something to help comfort you through this time.
