just FYI, this is NOT my thing, but a good friend of mine (you know him as Chio on the boards) just finally launched this, it looks extremely promising

In addition to the earlier posts regarding testing and feature additions to the 3rd party billing solution we have just finished up most features of the epass/paypal alternative I have been talking about for some time.

Right now we have the ability for users to pay a single person (even if they don't have an account) or multiple people (identical to epass affiliate payouts or Paypal's mass pay)

You can fund the payment account via bank wire, check, and your internal merchant or affiliate balance if you have one. We'll shortly be allowing funding via credit cards and ACH as well :)

You can withdraw funds from the account via check, wire, ach, and soon via debit or virtual credit card.

I should mention you do not need to be a merchant or affiliate to use the send money service.

We have a large number of merchants already testing the billing and affiliate systems so for you guys it's a one click upgrade of your account to start using the payment system.

For anyone interested in learning more or in testing (don't worry it's been extensively tested already beta is for the most part done we're just getting feedback on the site and features.) Please contact me via ICQ.

You can also signup directly ( https://www.verifiedcharge.com/cgi-bin/signup.cgi?Account=P ) but keep in mind most parts of the website (non logged in and external pages) are still being redesigned and may seem a bit whacky :)

oh yeah, more on this

PS send money rates are 1.50 currently and withdrawing depending on method are as low as free and 1.50 as well. For merchants using us for processing we will have a lower rate as well.

some more questions and answers...these have all been answered directly by Chio on another board

so it's a third party processor and a Paypal/Epass type payment system in one?
what are the rates for paysites using your third party processing?
If you are a merchant processing through us the rates will likely be .50-.75 cents for each p2p payment but we haven't worked that out yet and depends largely on our own processing rates. We are still technically in beta still and are hoping to use this opportunity to fine tune the systems and features based on user feedback.

do we have to sign up for seperate accounts, if we're a merchant account and want to use the pay features? or just email or click a button somewhere inside?
It's a one click upgrade if you already have a merchant or affiliate account just login and you'll see it.

How long before the Visa cards are available?
We hope very soon, we are waiting on some api's to hook it all up.

Can it be used to sell merchandise?
Yes.
We have a complete xml backend system in place for just about anything you would ever need to do.
Remember we offer 3rd party billing affiliate tracking in addition to the paypal/epass stuff.

Where is the bank/company based?
The US and UK currently and hope to open banking relationships within the netherlands as well.

Will the epass/paypal type solution be on verifiedcharge.com?
that service will have it's own site in addition to being integrated into Verified Charge.
It will be located/named payagent. It will not require signing up again if you are already a user.

5%? the other third party processors are between 12 and 15%. how can you offer such a better rate? for high risk internet even if i got a merchant account it would be about 8% I thought.
I have been an IPSP since 1998 (my avs) and have built up very solid relationships so I am able to get pretty good rates.
Also it is only 5% for beta (which stays with you after launch) we will likely launch at 10% with a sliding scale based on the risk of an individual merchant.
For example a merchant with very few chargebacks processing rate would begin to decline over time and the flip side is a merchant with a high number would increase.
We don't think it's fair to charge someone doing clean business the same rate as a merchant that isn't.

So Jace, you've known this guy a while?

We're talking about handling my money, so my first thought when a new service opens is, "who the fuck are these guys?"

yes, I have known him for quite some time

he is the creator and owner of Relink Software, which is the company that owns AutoBloggerPro and Bliggo.com

not only can I vouche for him, but I can give a list of 30+ large scale affiliate program owners that would also lay their rep down for him...

but with anything, I would start out small and see how it goes and make your own judgement from there

personally, i think the billing aspect is great and all, but the alternative to epass and paypal for a p2p service is going to blow anyone else out of the water

I wish them good luck. I don't have an epassporte acoutn myself but a TON of people do and even if there may be some complaining it will be hard to overtake them.

well, there are SO many people very unhappy with epassporte, i don't think it will be near as hard a job to compete as you might think

not to mention that ALL services will be bundled into one roof, from billing paysites to paying affiliates to p2p transfers

you can have affiliates, pay them straight to their account in the SAME system and then those affiliates can send each other money in the SAME system

i can't believe someone hasn't done this before

Maybe if hed get out of the kiddle pool and come play with the adults he would build more trust with this group of webmasters.

Im skeptical of ANY newcomer handling my money. Pure Vainlla and my virtualcard are 2 recent examples...

not sure what you mean by that, but if you mean come to oprano I will point him in this direction, but he posts regularly on most boards...well, as regularly as any busy person does...hell, he only posts once or twice a week on gfy, but also remember that gfy is the only place he marketed ABP and it sold more licenses in a year than most programs do signups....all from gfy posts

fact of the matter is, if you have something that needs to get out there quick and you need input on, gfy is the place...it is a love/hate thing for sure

but like I said, 2.5 years creating something and making sure it was done right usually isn't enough for people, let it ride and see how it does, but I for one am at least signing up so I get that 5% beta processing rate

out of all the dishonest biz going on as of late, I for one think it is refreshing to see someone that has the knowledge and money do something positive

but once again, use your own judgement

I heard these same arguements for Myvirtualcard.

Those thieves were low key for several years... and you see how that ended up.

Then you have Pure Vanilla that had all this mainstream cred . . . Mike South said that they screwed him out of his last payment.

Not quite as bad but you get the picture.

Lets hope it does well as Epassporte sure as hell is the turd that remains unpolished.

Who's holding this money on account? A bank? If so, are the accounts considered individual and are they insured? If so, up to how much?
Currently our accounts are with BOA and we are in the process of setting up the ability to do sub accounts (insured FDIC 100,000.00 per account)

Merchants will be required to send address verification, photo id, telephone numbers will be verified electronically bank and card verification. For ACH we require the above in addition to a signed Credit/debit authorization form.

By PCS do you mean PCI? If so, yes we have met all the requirements for PCI, and thus CISP and we are currently in the process of validating our status with a Visa approved QSA. We already have ACH authorization and our main focus right now is p2p payments (without card funding) until we can get the website completed the server migrated and the CISP designation.

Thanks for the questions, I would love to talk with you personally as you have always seemed very helpful and knowledgeable in respect to matters such as this. You can reach me via ICQ (in location)

I've got a lot of follow up posting to do before I head off for the evening. I'll check back in the AM.

While I signed up, they did ask for my social security number. This is for my business, not me personally, so I put in my tax ID.

There should be an option to specify business or personal accounts.

As uptight as BOA is about international business / business accounts / and the adult industry as a whole adds to me being skeptical.

Ill have some research done internally with Bank of America on this now.

Best case scenario would be if PayPal would process for adult again. I know it's not going to happen, but I like PayPal and still use them a lot for mainstream stuff.

Don't think so.
