How is the weak US Dollar effecting you?

This continued from another thread discussing the financial crisis in the US.....
I am sure it (the crashing buck) is nothing to do with bleeding billions and billions and billions into Iraq with no end in sight. If those who bought houses they can't afford (variable rate mortgage victims) are now in trouble, no amount of financial hocus pocus will help them. Now, what impact does this have on porn, and why are we discussing it here? Well, we are not immune to the ebb and flow of the market. But I will damn sure guess that pornographers, like every other sector, are feeling the fallout. Soon, all that stuff from China is going to get more expensive and disposable income will tighten. The good news at the moment, is that European business is picking up because we are becoming relatively cheap.

It seems to me that the only people that are bitching are the ones in foreign countries where the U.S. dollar is now weak and now their money is worth the same as ours. :whistling

That maybe so, but wait till the price of your imports increase. Wait till your exports become too costly and manufacturers are squeezed. Your offshore suppliers will become more expensive and you probably will be in no position to pass the increase along. I have lived through this before. You can bury your head in the sand, but if this continues, you will feel it. This ain't no chicken little scenario, it will happen.
