Overall though, I think it's an improvement. The colors are easier on these old eyes, and there's not quite so much itty bitty print.

overall it is definitely an improvement, but I still don't care for it all that much

it is slow and clunky on my laptop, and while the majority of it is all css done, there are so many scripts running it fucks with my browser pretty bad

i love the title of the page though - "internet" LOL

Please bear with us while we work out the bugs.

This is why I dont like using random designers. If I have one that works exclusively for me or even one I can contract regularly, I can train 'em to do stuff my way.

My answer to all of the above would be show 'em an example of what I want including writing code snippets for them if necessary.

I like my stuff to be easily maintainable even if I dont come back to it for over a year. Too many designers just design something pretty, slice it, let their favorite Adobe product output html/css the way it likes and call it a day.

I'm all about modularity and templates.

I just started working with a new designer and was sent a kick ass treatment. I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship. I tried a few and damn what they sent was lame. I have never used outside providers in the past so this is all new to me. Oh yeah, when its all done and dusted, I will post this site.
