Awesome, saw a days ago a documentary regarding rocket launches after the Second World War, it was amazing.

Well, today's rockets have evolved a lot and they are way more performant, but even the first ones were cool to watch craving the sky.

I've always wanted to see a shuttle lift off in person. I've just never managed to time it right.

I've seen it in the distance from further up the coast line a couple of times. I've attempted to see one once, and it was delayed.

That's one of those things where one day I'm just gonna say heck with it when there's a scheduled launch and go down and watch for the hell of it.

I try to watch them all. Humankinds greatest endeavor imo.
What a rush that has to be for the astronauts.

Sigh, well I at least walked outside here but the sky was overcast and while I could hear it, the launch wasn't visible, really a shame that it didn't happen a little later in the evening, night launches are AMAZING!:yowsa:

I gotta see one of those before I die. I was in the full size training shuttle and the space station and damn just that was truly impressive.

I went down specifically to see one for my 40th birthday...it was delayed. I was sorely tempted to stay at Internext this year and drive up to see this one, but decided against it for other reasons. I will see one before they stop flying. I hear it's an incredible feeling.

At least we agree on this topic.
See? Everybody has some common ground with everyone else.
