As you've probably seen, the Feed Pushers system is now live. We have 3 Reality Cash feeds going right now, and will be adding 3 per week until all of them are live. The entire Reality Cash network will update at a rate of 5 posts per week, spread out across all of the feeds.

The web site for Feed Pushers has undergone a redesign. The new design can be seen here:

What's Next For Feed Pushers?

Reality Cash is the Feed Pushers "launch sponsor," and has an exclusive in our system for a period of time. Rest assured that we've had a huge response to the technology, and many sponsors are already signed up and testing their feeds as well. We'll make additional announcements as appropriate.

We've had some complains about technologies that seem similar to Feed Pushers, but aren't, and the confusion this creates. I'll only comment on the topic once: the level of RSS feeds you want to offer is between you and your affiliates. Feed Pushers is an "end to end" service that supplies RSS feeds to your affiliate base in a professional and consistent manner. We are based in the U.S., and are serious about supporting our customers in any way we can. Our technologies integrate in a synergistic manner, and we plan to enhance Autoblogger Pro to work even better with Feed Pushers. We supply the RSS technology, we write the feeds, we write the rules, and we're native English speakers doing it.

The RealityCash Press Release
Reality Cash is pleased to announce the introduction of RSS feeds for our sites. Not only will we be launching quality RSS feeds with plenty of text and thumbnails, we will be utilizing a system called Feed Pushers (http://www.feedpushers.com) that randomly changes the structure and selection of words in a post to effectively combat many duplicate content concerns. This technology enables us to provide a fairly unique post for each affiliate, with a large selection of thumbnails also available to be randomly inserted.

To get the best advantage from this system, webmasters should use an RSS aggregator like Feed WordPress or Autoblogger Pro (http://www.abpsa.com) to pull the feeds, and then post them out to their blogs. This ensures that, as opposed to a "live" feed pulling system, you get the maximum amount of SEO benefit from having a unique post.

We will be implementing a phased integration of this system, beginning with 3 sites. These are Hardcore Partying, Right off the Boat, and one of our newest sites, Brea Bennett.

The URL's for the feeds are:

http://rss.hardcorepartying.com
http://rss.rightofftheboat.com
http://rss.breabennett.com

We've tested these feeds using Autoblogger Pro, but please let us know how
they work in other aggregators and on your sites. Some older browsers
aren't equipped to handle RSS feeds "out of the box," so you may not be able
to see the feeds by clicking the above links if you don't have the most
updated browser installed.

To start using these feeds with your ref codes, please visit the Reality Cash control panel and use the tools provided to generate your own custom URL's.

Like I told you on the phone the other night. Looks great :okthumb:

Good luck to you and your partners. Good concept, nice design. If the programs are coded as well as I think they are it makes a really nice all around package to take the drudge work out of sponsors getting their feeds out there.

I was just sitting and working with Dom on some new features....once this goes full steam and all the beta features are released you all are going to see the true meaning of a customizable dynamic rss feed

Just to update you all, we have some new features to tell you about

Feeds now have the ability to show as many pictures as you'd like, or none at all. There are three text links in each feed now, as well. One major text link (the full line) at the bottom, or "call to action" spot, and two in the text itself. The text for these links, as you'd expect will rotate itself.

Here's an example, using Brea Bennett

Normal feed, with text links: http://rss.breabennett.com

Feed with no images, with text links: http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=-1

Feed with 10 pictures: http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=10

Feed with 5 pictures: http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=5

Sounds like everyone is enjoying the feeds, so we'll be plugging away on some new features. We've already coded (and are testing) the ability to display the thumbs on the top, bottom, or both.

Here's an example, using Brea Bennett Again

Normal feed, 4 images on the bottom: http://rss.breabennett.com

Feed with 3 images, on top: http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=3&pic_format=1

Feed with 5 images, top and bottom: http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=5&pic_format=2[/QUOTE]

Don't take this as my trying to piss in your cheerios, I'm just asking a question because I would be interested in using feeds like this, but...

Is Reality Cash still telling affiliates that 2257 doesn't apply since the content isn't actually on their site? Every attorney I've talked to says it won't matter, as long as it appears to be on my site, it's been published by me which makes me a producer and if it's explicit, I need to have the docs.

I personally won't use any explicit content on any of my free sites, so is there a way to select the thumbs that will appear on my blog?

you will have to take that up with realitycash, we provide the feeds they requested and to their specifications

if you need something 2257 friendly you can use the no image feed - http://rss.breabennett.com/feed.php?feed_id=6&pic_limit=-1

in all honesty though, the demand for softcore 2257 images isn't all that great, it isn't something that sponsors or affiliates are requesting

but as far as the feeds and what is contained in them, that will need to be taken up with each affiliate program

as it says above pretty clearly, we are just the technology behind the rss feeds, and we design and format the feeds to the sponsors specifications

Thats not right man, thats just because they're not coming down hard yet on webmasters with the 2257 stuff. Thats why it's not in "request".
And I hope they start soon, Sales would only increase if affiliates only offered soft core on there sites as promo material.
Sponsors and your program need to work out a soft core feed check box like zipped feeds sites has.
Not trying to knock anything here guys, its just a thought. :)

Congrats Jace. :okthumb:

look man, we create the feed using our technology, plain and simple

what the sponsors want to do with the feeds it UP TO THEM..we don't control the 2257 or the sponsors morals/ethics/business pratices

if you want to bitch at someone and get things changed, talk to the sponsors providing the content to us for the feeds

on a side note, I agree and it will be brought up to my partners for sure to pass along to the sponsors...but if the sponsors don't want it, it won't happen within our service
