Does anyone here use Sound Forge? If so, do you know how to add background sound to an audio file?
I have audios that I want to add some music too and I can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks,
Dianna
sound forge really isn't the software that can do that well
Sony Acid is what you want for this

Oh dang. I record in SF and love it. I'm use to it but then I got an idea to add background sound and I can't figure it out. I'll check out acid. I'm assuming its editing software?

no, it is multitrack music creation software
sound forge is the best there is in the consumer market for recording and editing, but acid is the nest step when you want to layer tracks, which is what you want to do

Adobe Audacity is very good too. You used to get a 30 day trial - if you still do it may be your quickest and cheapest route for a one off job.
