A man broke into a Des Moines home Friday, tried to order porn from a television guide and played a computer video game, according to a police report.
Catherine Weaver of the 1100 block of 19th Street reported she came home around 4 p.m. and heard a commotion in the upstairs portion of her home.
She saw a man jump from her second-story deck. The house had been ransacked and it appeared he had entered through the deck window, police said.
Police said the suspect made himself at home, attempting to order porn from a living room television and then playing a video game on an upstairs computer. Weaver told police she didn’t believe anything was taken from the home.
Footprints lead to another nearby house that also appeared to have been broken into.
No arrests have been made.
