sites for Moblie?

I was just sort of wondering ... Do any of you make websites for mobile. if so how is traffic for them ? is it worht the "effort" .
I am thinking it would be but wow talk about going back to the days of basic text and images ... do any of you know if those videos FLV's for those sharing sites like youtube and pornotube can been viewed on mobile?

Is there a message board ssytem that works well with mobile ?

I downloaded an emulator, in order to down load it you have t register to the site (email PW ) but the site didn't make me go through the proccess of verifying. if you are interested http://www.openwave.com/us/ or if you know of some other emulator that works well let me know :)

I don't do any of the above, besides use the porntube or utube videos on my blog. But I do recall reading or viewing somewhere that yes embeding the tubes into moblie was possible, now I'd have to remeber where i saw it.

There is a plug in tha I HAVE SCHEDULED TO DROP IN HERE THAT WORKS WELL FOR MOBILE AND pda. Of course typing on cell phone has its cahllenges. There is a PDA link now for Oprano atthe bottom of he scren. Ill drop in the ne Plugin which is a lot more cleanter.

Yes, Gonzo having link for this board would be cool, I did notice though when i tried to load this site in the emulator it would crash stating it ran out of memory... I don't know if that would be how it with cell phone access or not but I do know many providers actaully charge people for data transfer to their phone (what a crock IMO )

Teting on cell ...Yeah, well they younger adults nowadays can type /text on cell phone ust about as fast as us older folk do on keyboard. But i have been looking at possible solutions (generic comments <alt/ access keys> to that too

I want to use aebn. for one of the sponsrs but they never respnded back to me with anyinformation about linking solutions to ares within the xoblie site. MEH.. I will try again once I have something developed I figure because I am a "small fry" in the biz they never got back to me. THough i did notice the affialtie manager or what ever the title they give doesn't seem to be listed there anymore.

The next thing I am going to look at is how to know when a cell phone /pda typ device is accessing the site so as to direct them to the correct pages so they can view. it's a pretty simple thing just matter of finding the correct information... ;)

I have messed around with mobile. meaning i went and bought a program to convert it to that file type, made videos in three different sizes and still could not get it to work right... html was easy for my phone but the video... forgetaboutit!

i think if there was a more standard formatting across the board with these things it would make it much easier to build to please them but right now there is an awful lot of standards to try to meet


but if i missed something please let me know :)

I'm doing some mobile stuff at the moment, forget youtube and such for now as FLV's don't play on most if any mobiles.... .3gp is the format you need to use, try Acala (http://www.cutedvd.com/html/products.html) to convert your videos...

You should have an affiliate rep listed in your stats. If you dont let me know and I will hook you up with one of the 2 excellent ones I spent the last 2 weeks with in Vegas.

When these 2 werent working hte booth or the show floor they had a list of all thier affilaites to make sure they met with each of them if availible.

I'm still sitting on a stable of Premo Pocket PC domains that I Haven't found anything to do with.
When somebody finds a mobile/pocketPC program that is worth using, please post.

I want some control. I want to promote our product, and offer some Content.
I don't mind shunting the content to someone else, but I want to promote our product on the way in.
