We are sitting here watching Casino Royale, and I have to say that this new guy playing James Bond is kind of a dork

He doesn't even look like a "James Bond", much less act like one

they did some shot of him a second ago, the camera was lower shooting upwards at him, and I swear he looked like any typical geek you see at a webmaster convention

That is a great movie. Don't judge the film until you have seen the last 10 seconds. It will all become clear, grasshopper. It is a fabulous script.

I didn't say the film wasn't good, i just think the new Bond looks like a weasle

my girl keeps leaning over asking "now, why did they chose someone so ugly to be bond?" haha

so far the movie is great though, lots of dry humor, I love dry humor

FWIW, The new Bond is actually much closer to Ian Fleming's vision of the original 007, so this is actually a return rather than a departure from the canon. I always thought Pierce Bronson and the other slick-dude Bonds were too smooth to be impressive. In contrast, Daniel Craig's stumbles and trips in the opening chase scene just heightened the tension. He sort of looks like a monkey, yeah, but he seems real which makes the action hotter.

I'll never look at a rope the same way again.

Could rough up a smooth velvety sack.
