from my ban checking tool

Site: www.reallyeighteen.com

1st Check.........

"Google cannot see this website".

2nd Check (using a slightly different method).

"This site is not banned from Google - it has been found using two different methods."

another tool

No results found, attempting a different look-up...

The domain name has a PageRank value of 4. The domain name DOES NOT appear to be banned.

The domain name has Backlinks and no Listings. The domain name DOES appear to be banned.

Using google itself it certainly doesn't appear to be in the index any longer and shows no pagerank.

Might just be comcrap taking a dump, but the reallyeighteen domain itself isn't resolving for me now.

I'd say regardless of what's actually going on, their business is likely being impacted.

I should say that I was jumping to conclusions on this. It sure looked like it to me, but I should not have said it as a statement. I was going by the fact that a google search was not finding the site at all, and by the appearance of this at the bottom of search results pages that should have found it.

"In response to a legal request submitted to Google, we have removed 2 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read more about the request (http://www.chillingeffects.org/notice.cgi?sID=1496) at ChillingEffects.org."

I wonder if this is how it all started?

Child Pornography Complaint to Google

and not actually with the registrar?
