So who's going?

I just booked.

As GonZo discovered the hardway, if you want a piece of AEE before Internext, be prepared to pay thru the nose for the hotel room for some of those nights....or do some hardcore bargain hunting.

I'm in for Internext only. And be warned, I booked a spa suite so I can wash my nuts in front of the window for all the strip to see.

I'll be very curious to see how moving it away from the video show impacts attendance.

In theory it should bring back some of the smaller companies and individual webmasters who do not want to pay CES room rates.

I did it last year, but swore I'd never do it again. I dont mind the money so much, and a little gambling will get you casino rate on the room even during a show if you stay a couple of days before or after to play. But the crowds, cab lines, etc, suck.

From what I've heard, TheHotel rooms are sold out. I don't know if they've held some out for Player's Club folks nor do I think I'm important enough to garner one even if they have ;)

IF TheHotel isn't sold out, I might pop up for a couple of days just to see some folks, but not actually attend the show.

Lots of cheap great rooms available during Internext. Only reason it was so pricey in the past was it bumped up against CES.

TheHotel is full. I didn't try to buy or bribe my way in though.

I opted for a Pyramid Spa Suite next door in Luxor. Considered the Pharoah Suite again, but I like to try different places, and I've never stayed in the actual pyramid itself at Luxor. And besides, I wanna wash my nuts in view of the strip....the jacuzzi is right up in the window.

Will definitely see everyone at the show. Farrell will be there for the entire AEE, however I'm coming in the day of the awards show (we'll see anyone who's going to that there too!). Then we're staying for Internext. Fortunately we booked our room at TheHotel VERYYYYYY early on so we could ensure we got one.. it's kind of a PITA to get rooms anywhere there at this point.

Would love to get together with more Opranauts and do some business :).

Well, cancel that. No Vegas for me this Jan. The show ends on the 17th so if I went up on the 16th or 17th and spent a few extra days, I'd miss out on the fun in another gambling town starting on the 19th.

But lord knows, Vegas pulls me in at least 3 times a year. I'm sure I'll be back to help them redecorate.

We've added Mini-Baccarat to our repotoire. Another great game for losing money slowly while drinking and ogling asian girls.
