Feedback on RSS feeds please

Opranauts.. please tell us what you think

we are going to be adding RSS Feeds to our program for our affiliates to use (too spammy? sorry) but this is all pretty new to everyone in the company so we would love to get some feedback on them. Please be as harsh or as flattering as you see fit. not sure what you are trying to gain out of providing these to affiliates, but overall I wouldn't say many people would be using them

I am not sure who you are trying to target with these, tgps or blogs?

there is barely any text on them, so blogs won't use them, and the pics are too big, so tgps won't use them

It seems you are just using the galleries and feeding the rss with them

I would reduce the image sizes to a standard thumb size for tgp's and just market them as "gallery rss feeds", because unless you are going to add at least a paragraph or two of text, you won't be able to tap into much blog traffic

as to who we are making them for... i had no idea when I posted them. But I have gotten enough feedback now to know that we will be trying to have two versions fo each feed when we launch;

one for TGPs/MGPs that have much less text and smaller thumbs

one for blogs that have larger images and quite a bit more text to go with them.

none of these feeds, at this point, are available to our affiliates to use because we knew that this is a very rough draft of what we are going to end up with as a finished product. I do have a specific question for you if you don't mind :)

what would be a standard thumb size for;

a TGP feed

a Blog Feed

Ok, so we made a couple of adjustments and here is an example of the new one for bloggers. Please tell me where we may have missed important things. MUCH better man, those look really nice

two thing I would add though, with reasons for both

1. a link at the bottom of each blog post going to the site/gallery that it is promoting. The reason is, the only thing you have linked in there is the pics, so when someone sees the post on a blog and doesn't know the image is clickable they just assume it is an informative post, :)

2. link some text in the posts if you can....a fun thing about search engines is that if you take some text and add a link to it, whatever text you used for that link will gain rank in the SE's....so this: Hardcore Porn (http://www.adailyfix.com/) will end up in the search engines for the term "hardcore porn". so if you do this teen girls (http://galleries.soloteengirls.net/60021824/index.php?account=RC_1) in some of the posts, then your affiliates will get some se rankings with their affiliate ID ;)

We are releasing the feeds today, announcing it in our newsletter, but I have sent the link to this thread and the suggestions along to the guy taking care of these and we will be trying to incorporate the second suggestion as we continue to build these feeds for all of our other sites as well :)

The first one he just told me is already done :)
