I had it on cd and lost it recently and found that you tube version a little while ago. Can't remember the guy's name though.

I just entered "Somewhere Over The Rainbow hawaiian version" into google a little while back and found it. :)

I have been working my ass off all day. That was so cool. Put a smile on my face.

Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole is who sang it and it seems he has passed away.

I don't have a favorite relaxation song :( Really the only time I listen to music is when I'm in the car. However, if I'm feeling extremely peppy, I'll put my "Oklahoma" soundtrack CD in there and sing at the top of my voice with all the windows down - since I'm tone deaf, the windows are down to prevent them from cracking.

You people are just atrocious ...
Here presents Mr. Enforcer with a endowment of music & superb tone of a voice, from Hawaii. And you come back with crap like
"Whiney Whiney" & "Peanut Butter shit???"

Thats messed up, :nono2: I think ya'll need to think it over, in the mean time,
I think I'll go have some Chicken Noodle Soup (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb63qCrc2p4) maybe with a soda or something on the side.

I'm gonna tell Jessie you dont like his singing....and it takes true talent to play a chainsaw musically:

If you watch the video closely, GonZo was in Jessie's high school class, you'll see him in a desk at the back of the room.

Hahaha you bastard.

Tha video was true to our roots though. Showing a movie in class. Of course all the Psy Ed coaches taught important classes like Social stuides, history or developmental reading. I cant recall if that s Coach Carden or Coach Gooch's class.

Jacklyl trivia
The geezer at the beginning of the video is Jessie's peepaw.
He used to open all the early shows at like Macgrugers on stage with that rifle which hed fire off with a blank load it in. Rednecks like rock and Roll and guns.

The school house that was filmed in was actually a church over on Acworth Due West Road.

Ill see if I can find the video that was the CoolHand Luke knock off. If was filmed in the old Cobb County Jail.

Thank goodness we all don't like the same things. Iz's version of Somewhere over the Rainbow is beautiful and very peaceful and I am glad many like it. HOWEVER, it was played at a funeral I attended a while back and I will always now associate it with a sad occasion. It is on my iPod and I cry every time I hear it.

I was introduced to the whacky Peanut Butter Jelly Time song by my 6 yr old granddaughter. She and her 4 yr old sister would sing it and dance to it. To me that brings back sweet memories and it makes me smile.

Is it my favorite song of all times... of course not. But it does for some crazy reason bring me peace and makes me think of little sweet happy children.

With that said...If my PB & J was atrocious, I apologize to all I offended. that was not my intension.

Listen to what makes you smile...

Someone left that on my car during John's service. I THINK it was one of my sisters. I can't listen to it any more even though it used to be one of my favorites.

I just can't believe no one else sees the excitement of Oklahoma!!! ("where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.........")

Next time we are in my car, I shall sing it for you.

"Who are you" by the Who has always been a favorite because it was how a guy told me we had tickets to see them in concert when we were in college.

And I don't think I had sex in college at my house w/o a Dan Fogleberg or Bozz Scaggs 8 track playing. Or Christopher Cross. Yes, I'm that old.

You had sex? Damn. That is a scarey thought. Those guys must have been rat assed. Hell at least you had a chance as a medical professional in a uniform, but you even tanked that one. LMFAOROF What is a fat old woman supposed to do?

If we're gonna talk musicals I gotta go with Fiddler on the Roof and Tradition and If I Were A Rich Man which are both quite fun to sign to.
