I mostly put thumbnails or medium sized images and link them to the paysite....does it work out better for you to actually link the thumbnails to the larger image for preview?

I am thinking about doing a test with a sponsor that offers campaigns, and use one campaign for thumbnail to larger image, and one campaign for images linked to the paysite

I am currently doing both to try and gauge what sells better.

I have tried it three ways.

1. Link directly to the paysite from the thumb

2. Link to the bigger picture

3. Link to a FPA for the site

I have found that on my fetish themed sites it is better to actually give them the picture and keep them loyal. Other than that the FPA thing is actually working well on most blogs but I can't always be bothered to do it so if it is a blog with a lot of sponsors I just link to the paysite.

If there is a corresponding gallery I usually link the thumb image to the gallery page. If not, I link it to the site tour.

I've tried both, and it seems to work best to give them the big photo first. But all traffic is different, I guess.
