Open Letter to the Free Spech Coalition
You lied to us.
You said that joining in your lobbyist group would protect webmasters that could be effected by the second party issue surronding 2257.
You then recanted your position after you had our money saying that your "selective" restraining order protected only primary producers.
Then the boys at CumonHerFace get popped in jail and you havent even gone as far as to make a phone call to Andy.
So heres a big FUCK YOU from Oprano.
Im removing the button that I ran here free for the past 2 years and I will be replacing it with an FCCFU button.
I figure Ill get at least as much value as I have from you in the past.

NO Gonzo... FU
the FSC is doing whatever it can against unbelievable odds to keep our industry afloat. It takes a lot of time and money and work... not to mention lawyers to prevent the wolf pack of rabid politicians in check.
You owe the FSC an apology and slapp that banner back up

your a complete fucknut spazlabz! do you not remember when it was this huge blanket of protection to send your hard earned cash to the FSC and they would protect you against any investigation while the litigation was on going!
or do you forget the mad scramble that every one did trying to get their applications (and checks) sent in on time and processed before a deadline? All so they could have some sort of temporary immunity against warrant less wire.... ooopps... I mean spontaneous records checks by rabid men in black suits?
Geeeeesh you're a moron and an ass!

The FSC is a very worthwhile cause. They are an industry trade group that represents the industry, not individuals. Essentially, for $300 a year ($25 a month), they provide you with information on important issues, submit comments for new legislation, drop lawsuits for 2257, etc. If you get in trouble, you need to hire legal representation to handle your case, and the parties have done that and set up a trust fund. They should not count on the FSC to bail them out, nor can the FSC handle every single case before them.
This thread is a little out of whack. The FSC is a worthwhile cause, but not a panacea for everyone's legal issues. For $300 a year, you get a lot, they are pretty much the only trade group for us that monitors the legislation closely, brings it to the limelight, and offers generic, but important industry advice to everyone.
