They’ve basically gone from their typical (and outdated) “show floor” format to an almost target shaped style with a bar in the center, exhibitor booths outward from that, and other such facilities beyond those. Alright, I know you guys want "some value" for your money in Vegas, but there's a bigger issue here.

Everybody loves to bitch about how AVN is a greedy vampire that tries to suck this business dry. That might be the case, but here's the problem. The only reason AVN can get away with this shit is because so many of you guys allow them. AVN is not in the business of doing this industry any favors. Paul Fishbein, though a super nice guy, is not a running a porn charity over there. He has one goal and one goal only, and that's to squeeze as much scratch outta you people as he can.

Now truthfully, I don't believe they're really all that worried about attracting the average webmaster to this show. They want the big boys, VOD, cash companies, etc. They know all of those guys will pony up. It's a guarantee. Most of them love to play that "we spend money with AVN so we can get a little consideration every now and then" kinda thing. It's just the way it works. If they pick up a few smaller webmasters along the way, well, that's just icing on the cake.
