Hey Yo!
Its Poll Time again.
NATS has just made this statement about suspending a license for some accounting discrepancies of Naked Rhino...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Too Much Media Suspends Xclusive Cash NATS License
This is a notification that Too Much Media, makers of the NATS affiliate system, have been forced to temporarily suspend the NATS license belonging to N.R. Media, owners and operators of Xclusivecash.com

There was a discrepency between the number of rebills reported to the NATS system from the rebills reported by CCBill. upon attempting to rectify the situation with executives of N.R. Media Too Much Media was met with full resistance and profanity as well as an abruptly terminated phone call.

At which point N.R. Media agrees to fully repopulate the CCBill rebill data to represent the correct figures Too Much Media will reinstate the NATS license.

The suspension of the NATS license will not effect ongoing affiliate sales. It will only disable the adminstration area of NATS so that the program is rendered unusable until the situation is sorted out.

in this case, yes...plain and simple

I say more power to 'em. Protect the integrity of their software.

I do know that my own numbers with Xclusive Cash were very disappointing compared to my numbers from similar sites. I have to now wonder what they really were.

I noticed another program that had their NATS admin suspended briefly late last month, and wondered why. Whatever the issue in that case it was resolved in a few hours.

Might be interesting to see who leaves NATS after they see that not only will they get caught, they'll get outted too :)

I think it was unprofessional to post it on GFY, regardless of what happened.

They're protecting their brand, I understand that. Part of their branding, or positioning at least, is "no shaving".

If John says they told them to go fuck off when confronted, that doesn't offer a lot of other recourse.

Going public sends a message....dont use it if you're going to try to cheat and shave as a sponsor, and on the user side maybe another notch of confidence that NATS programs are clean and honest.

I'd say NATs is definitely founded in their position and resulting action. However, to come out publicly with names is a bit much in my opinion. Whatever went down on the phone/behind closed doors is one thing, to air it is another. I feel that there is a time, place and manner in which examples can be made while remaining discreet and not risk anyone's reputation. Playing Devil's Advocate for a sec, it could have been something as simple and inadvertent as a changed option in the admin or a new recruit changing something they shouldn't have (though the innocent don't often use profanity and hang up on someone, but I am not "in the know" and am being diplomatic). In any case, they should protect their brand and the choice to suspend until rectified is warranted.

Someone pointed this out on that other board and I think even though it was a fake nick typing, he had a point

NATS surely has a team of kickass lawyers....I really doubt that they would out someone like this without talking to their laywers first

I personally am ALL for them outing people publicly that try and cheat, and honestly if there are people that don't like them outing cheaters it makes me think twice about the people against them doing that.

As with all things on GFY you must read between the lines, figure out to to pay attention to and who to ignore, then distill it all down and let it age a bit.

Having carefully re-read some specifc posts by a couple of "new" nicks this is what appears to have take place:

1) Several months ago NR Media changes their CCBill login
2) That new login was never updated in the NATS admin
3) This is brought to the attention of TMM
4) TMM checks the numbers within the NATS admin and confirms a discrepency with CCBill numbers.
5) TMM attempts to contact NR Media to inquire about the issue and gets cursed and hung up on.

Given the apparent seriousness of the issue and the response by NR Media I don't think TMM had much choice but to go public given their prior statements about shaving.

I've got no issue with outing cheaters if they truly are cheaters. Given the response nats was met with, I'd say it warranted in this instance.

Great point and almost exactly what I was thinking...

---------
outting them publically after... if i am reading this correctly...one phone call involving unprofessional conduct is equally unprofessional.

who did they talk to? was it the owner of the company or a lacky? BIG difference right there.... someone in that company had to have a reasonable thought process that could have worked it out before damaging the company as badly as going public surely must have...

I don't have a problem with it. But if they do do things like that they better make absolutely sure they have a good reason to do so. If they suspended the account of someone who did nothing wrong I have no doubt they would get sued to high heaven, and deservedly so, because of the business it would cost a company.

Jace

I would be willing to put money on the fact that TMM posted on the boards after speaking with their lawyers

too many court rooms

Here we go again. I am kinda at a loss of words right now I will be able to explain later but unlike some childish, lying adults I unfortunately know, I will remain quiet until the truth prevails....which it will. Word to the wise "Evil never wins so choose your side wisely". To all my dear friends, thank you for your support and continued assurance that we will overcome the bullshit. Talk to you soon.

spazJust in case your query isn't purely rhetorical...

Brandi is Chris' wife and the CFO of N.R. Media. She is also the featured model for thier primary pay site brandilove.com.

As for the "Evil", your guess is as good as mine.

Naked Rhino Responds

XCLUSIVE CASH: AFFILIATE STATEMENT

August 11, 2006

Raleigh, N.C. - NR Media, Inc. (“NRM”) operators of Xclusive Cash, in response to unfounded allegations by Too Much Media regarding “shaving” of CCBill re-bills for NRM Affiliates, is conducting an active and vigorous investigation in order to insure that all its Affiliates have been properly paid for all business generated during their participation in NRM’S Affiliate program. NRM takes such allegations seriously, and through its counsel Albert Zakarian, Esquire of AdultLaw.com, will demand a complete and exhaustive accounting from Too Much Media via the Federal Court System. In the meantime, Chris, of NRM, has stated that he and NRM’S staff will do everything they can to get to the bottom of any problem that may exist, though none has been discovered to date. NRM has, and intends to continue, to honor all its obligations with its valued Affiliates.

just thought I'd pop in and say hi, been a long while since I've posted here :waving:

anyone thinking brandi and chris aren't guilty are absolutely foolish.

Jace, you'd be absolutely correct in that assumption, there's no way John is going to risk his ass over a suspicion or someones word, they absolutely have to have concrete evidence or john NEVER would have brought it to the boards, he's just not that stupid. As for the rest of my opinion on the matter, it's all there in the original thread :okthumb:

I would really really LOVE to know who the fuck that isMy money is on someone from NATS, he has way too much info that a lot of the actual players don't even have lol so it's either nats or ccbill pullin those strings, has to be. No one knows what actually happened aside from a very very very select few people and I know for a *fact* it wasn't any one of the few using those nics.

Plus, who else is gonna be able to come up with a number? Think a million rubles was just something he said? Naw, those are internal numbers. Too much known by them and no way anyone aside from them have access to those numbers.

I really can't wait till this all plays out, god I'd give my left arm to be the one to spill the beans. I got screwed over on spilling the pibcash info lol, I was one of the first who got the screenshots. I never get to cause mad drama
