i think the industry would be much better served and more minds would be at ease, if these two, more than anyone else... were getting along :)

I can see if he stole company property and intellectual secrets, but most non-competes don't hold up. I personally do not know him, but from what I've heard, those that do are VERY surprised by this turn of events.
