It's not hard for a site to appear to grow that quickly on Alex. It's very easy to manipulate the numbers.

Remember when SleazyDream blew by TheHun and it turned out he was just buying a bunch of Chinese traffic.

Frankly, I think the more interesting trend is the slow and steady decline for TheHun.

Yeah, but with pornotube the REAL numbers are AMAZING....I honestly have rarely seen a porn site grow as fast as it did...

I hate alexa personally, in fact I am doing a little experiment with it right now...I installed the toolbar last week and set a new site of mine as my homepage, the alexa is already at 234,000...haha...and MAYBE 2-3 people go to the site a day right now because it isn't live yet

I remember that sleazydream shit though, that was hilarious....and yes, the steady decline of thehun is pretty interesting to see...I am almost anxious for the next 5-10 years in this biz to come, I see some interesting changes in the future

How does 3.64 million page views per day sound? That's hard to fake. Well, given that we haven't purchased a single hit. This is entirely organic, word-of-mouth traffic. Fleshbot.com highlighted the site just after Veoh.com removed all the porn from their site. The results of that timing are obvious :)

The graph may not represent TheHun.com's actual traffic. Alexa results are relative to other sites, so the graphs are only good for comparisons, not actual traffic measurement. Alexa resets their algorithms now and then - you'll see huge fluctuations in apparent traffic strength, while the ranks remain pretty much the same.

the rank is good, but essentially, the rank is so high because the pageviews per user is very high. thehun has double the reach, in other words, double the unique eyeballs.

not to discredit what you guys are doing, but you still have a while to go to catch up to the hun. for sure a great start.

If we were looking at raw traffic numbers we wouldn't be close yet
