swappernet ad?
I logged in today and no floating box of annoyances
is it broke?
did my machine refuse to allow it to slide across my screen?
was it killed?
what happened?

there was this banner

it floated across the screen once a day... or was it once an an hour?... any way it floated right across your screen

people made threads, threats, cried. got homemade bombs ready to clear this thing out....

now its gone...

OH THE HUMANITY! Where'd it go?

i dont really care it was just curious that it vanished is all

I never saw it, but then I've been away for just over a week... interesting advertising concept though, I like it. :)

yeah my view about it was that at the very least it was effective... i mean people did talk about whether they liked it or not it got discussed. For me I think that advertisers should like it because it certainly wasn't ignored :)

Exactly! Any ad that gets attention (good or bad) can't be wrong.

Plus if someones paying you to run it then it's plus plus. ;)
