Q) Do you have any links to sites like Yahoo or Google on your warning pages?

Q) Do you have any mainstream sites?

If the answer is YES to both I'd like to invite you to link swap with me to either: mashups.com (http://mashups.com) or 110free.com (http://110free.com) and I'll link back to a mainstream site of your choice from my MAIN page.

If you don't have any mainstream sites but have some wasted links you'd be prepared to point in my direction rather than the big boys' search sites I will be forever grateful! :)

It's up to you how you would care to link - here are a couple of suggestions though.

Mashups.com - The ultimate resource for Mashup MP3s!

110free.com - The top 110 sites offering free stuff!

Please email me at robin@robinnixon.com if you do this so I can link back to you and/or thank you!

Cheers!

- Robin.

... Or failing that, if you have any non-adult sites you'd like to link swap with - especially freebies or music related - I'll still offer a front page deal with either of these two sites.

Do you really think people click the exit link? I think they do what I do, close the browser or hit the back button. Now an exit script pop-under that works well with all browers is cool.

Actually, I have one of my sites set up with warning pages, that site only gets maybe 100-200 hits a month, but there are about 2-3 people a day that click the exit link.

Yes they do.:)

our check is not HUGE but we get enough to buy a dinner or tickets to movie for the family and stuff like that it is better than wasting it .

I know some of their clients actually get a lot more than that .

I set up a custom website and I send all my "exit" traffic there. I list about 6 sites in the most popular niches, many in my niche, plus links to my other sites. I get many sales this way with no work at all.

Stats show about 2,200 visitors per month with the largest from my TGP with a warning page. I'm sure those are folks from "general" and not "niche" trades who have no desire to see hairy women.

Hi Gonzo,

It used to be that mashups were when you mix two or more tracks together to make a new one. Such as, say, a Beastie Boys acapella with a rock track. But with pitch bending and time shifting now they mix almost anything with anything else.

Also mashups now refer to mixing two pieces of software together such as when people modify Google maps to add lists of restaurants or what have you. The software side of mashups is something I'm not covering (yet).

I do now :)

We just started covering software mashups and there are quite a few interesting ones there - particularly take a look at the Software Mashup of the Day - it's a hybrid of about 6 apps!
