Show Dates Announced for Internext Las Vegas 2007

CHATSWORTH, California – Internext Las Vegas 2007 will be held January 15-17 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, AVN Media Network announced.

The show will follow AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo, which runs from January 10-13 at the Venetian, and the AVN Awards on January 13. The Consumer Electronics Show takes place in Las Vegas January 8-11.
"We solicited and considered a lot of feedback. The great majority wanted Internext after AEE, but still in January," says Teri Owens, Internext show manager. "With AEE just before Internext, attendees have the option going to just one show or doing both."

Looks like I'll have to try and make plans to attend.

I like these dates much better.

AVN still gets a couple of days overlap with CES to get the norny conventioneer crowd for foot traffic. Then 2 final days CES is out of town so you get a bit of industry only time or at least people who are in town primarily for AVN including the awards show on saturday night.

Then internext fires up on Monday...well separated from both for guys only interested in the web side.

But I'm curious how dead that Internext show floor is gonna be. I think the attendees will come if for no other reason it's Vegas and the cost to play has been dramtically reduced with CES out of the picture. But I'm curious to see if there's any life left in the show floor format.

I am thinking of a booth for the AEE show....

but will just drop by internext and see how it is doing this year.

I think they will figure it out AVN is a great company in my mind.
