06/11 - ...and the fairy tale comes to an end. The police just left my house. Don was driving home from a business meeting in Las Vegas, and he got into an accident and rolled the Jeep. He's dead. He's never coming back to me. My husband, my soulmate, my other half, the one I was meant to grow old with. I'm almost 8 months pregnant with a son he will never get to see, and I have a one year old daughter who will never be able to remember anything about her father... and he was such a GOOD father to her, she was such a daddy's girl you wouldn't have believed it! Now she'll just have to take my word for it when I tell her how much daddy loved her, because she's too young to remember him for too much longer. Oh god, how that breaks my heart. How am I going to go on without him? How am I going to get a job at almost 8 months pregnant, with a one year old baby??? I couldn't go back to porn even if I wanted to, I'm much too huge. My ex-hubby, Bud Lee, is driving out here in the morning with another good friend of mine, and they are going to help me get through this. Somehow. I've just donated my entire AEBN check to her.

I was watching a documentary on satellite this weekend (HBO or Showtime or something) about the legacy of Debbie Does Dallas - and realized that a lot of people don't realize that porn flicks do NOT pay residuals like they do in other entertainment businesses... it's typically a one-shot payment deal. On Asia's site it shows she did 250+ films in her time... we are all guilty of thinking that the money will keep flowing, that it will last forever. Spend it like you got it, always spending more than you make... pick your cliche... everyone has been guilty of thinking of today rather than tomorrow - living in the moment.

I feel sorry for her situation - to be that happy, in a place that she probably never thought she could achieve - a loving husband, a gorgeous baby girl and a son on the way.. to lose it all... it's heart breaking.

No one has said that. As stated before, she could easily be in a panic mode. She needed a car ASAP. If she's not liquid, it could take a week or two to get money from selling stocks. Stocks are also low so it might make sense for her to go to her fans before she lost money by selling stocks. Some could be in 401Ks or IRAs where she'd lose money cashing them out.

I was thinking the same thing last night too Peaches... panic mode... I also checked out some of the links on her site - looks like hubby had quite the online biz going there with lots of oars in the water... I bet she was just freaking out... being 8 months pregnant doesn't help... and very true - she didn't troll the boards, just posted to her loyal readers and others brought it to the boards... glad to read in her blog that she has her ex and friends on the way to help support her.... but you could read in her posts - it was pure panic.

What a crock!! It is easy to sell stock, just put in a sell order. It is easy to justify and make excuses. I promise you that Asia has made significantly more money then You or Gonzo the past 10 years and I doubt she would be first in line to bail you guys out.

This is a lesson that people should have plans, life insurance and other necessities of life set up when bad things happen.

Seems legit broke and no idea where the next paycheck is coming from. Lost half when the bubble burst, gambled away another half while distraught over her ex-boyfriend being deported and being alone, sunk what was left into downpayment for the house she's in now.
