Ah, that looks better than the yellow button of doom.

But the bigger news here is you outting yourself as a surfmeister.

Could there be a public stoning in the works? :yowsa:

Nope. But I have seen it on stage and we did it as a play in High School (1972 we did the Crucible in Fall and the Lottery in the spring. Happy little high school I went to). Very powerful little story that.

Very powerful little story that.Indeed.

Seems you and I went to very similar high schools. I opted for the dreaded 300 English in grade 12, which was a double credit course We studied the Crucible in great detail, but it was in JUNIOR high where our entire grade 9 class was gathered in the theatre and shown The Lottery.

That film was eerie.

It's nearly 30 years later, I've only seen it the one time, but I can still recall it vividly.

If I remember right, in 9th grade we went, as a class, to see Romeo and Juliet.

Had to get permission slips because of how "racy" it was..lol. Had a cool english teacher though. Miss Wichinsky. HOT. Wore mini skirts, tight blouses and heels all the time. Brought Abbey Road in the day after it became available and played it as poetry for us.
