Looking at this map of the USA county by county done by gas prices is quite interesting. Some of it seems quite obvious like the red zones in New York and California but there is some interesting areas like the one gbig green area in Washington or that deep orange area in Colorado in a sea of green in their neighboring states.

So what type of area for prices are you in? My entire state is in the orange ctaegory.

Same here, but I'm in Ill-a-noise, about 40 miles from Iowa & Missouri. I've got to make a tobacco run to Missouri today (save more than ten bucks a carton that way), so I'll fill my Lumina up when I go.

Normally gas prices are between four and seven cents lower over there, but this weekend the difference between Hannibal, MO and anywhere around here was seventeen cents.

Indiana and solid orange here. I assume those prices are for regular gas though. I paid $3 for premium when I filled up 2 weeks ago.

That's a big difference to be sure. Worth the trip for the cigs and gas. :>))

Hey, if you're up for a bit longer trip, in Carracas it's $0.12/gallon.

In Saudia it's $.78/gallon.

On the other side of it...the average in Europe apparently is: $6.90/gallon

Currently the equivalent of $1.78 a litre over here :(

Here in Winnipeg we're paying $1.10/litre..... which by my calculation = $4.15 Cdn/US Gallon.

Which = $3.65 USD per gallon (by today's exchange rate)

How does $3.65/gal stack up against where you guys are?

I find it a bit of an outrage that countries like Venezuela can have their people paying so little (.12 cents per gallon), when CANADA is in the top 3 in the world for largest oil deposits. By our gas prices we are being treated like a non-oil-producing country for fuck sakes.

Somethings not right, and part of that something starts with the sizeable tax our government grabs on every gas purchase we make. Bastards.

Blame NAFTA.

Blame NAFTA.Actually it might have more to do with the fact that our oil is in oil sands, which requires an extraction process. All the necessary processing plants that perform this process are in the USA, so our petroleum products don't directly come to us like they do in other countries.

The situation is.... unfortunate.

At least we're not paying European prices. Must... count.... blessings....

Edmonton is $1.085/litre that's just crazy with all the oil/gas produced here in Alberta.
