I just sold a softcore custom video (for personal use only) - and I havent even mentioned on my page that I sell them yet.
When I first started on the internet I had a little one page site and I made really good money just doing this.

So why did you stop?
One big problem was finding a processor who will do adult tangibles. It was a pain in the ass after ccnow shut down.
Not sure what I'm going to use this time. Might have to do just mail orders.

you can use a certain payment system that doesn't allow adult, but just don't advertise it anywhere and keep transactions private ;)

I know tons of ebay users that process $1000 a day
and seriously, do you really want to do $1000 worth of custom videos a day? and even in my wifes heyday in the video world, she never got $1000 worth of custom video orders a day
Vicky Vette is a really good friend of ours, and custom videos are one of her biggest money makers, and she still only does 3-4 a week

we stopped just because we got sick of taking orders from perverts...I know that is horrible to say in the porn industry, but a lot of the video requests had 5 page scripts and shit....we may end up doing it again some day, but we aren't rushing to it

hm...in the custom video sales world, it is generally frowned upon to use that video as content for your site....in fact, most of our customers asked if that was going to happen and were glad when we said it wouldn't...plus, if you use it on your site and it isn't exclusive to who you sold it to, you can't charge as much ;)

over & over, lol, it safes alot of work and time, editing them helps to. "But keep in mind I don't have the popularity that Tabitha has, So that helps because content isn't as spread over the net as Tabitha's." Plus depending on who your affilite cam sponcer are, "if your working that way" you can download alot of your private shows & resell them to surfers. Same for jpg's. And if you go with truly exclusive, defently charge a shit load more than something already done. Look at it like a private cam show and your charging by the minute, and since it's downloadable, don't take less than 3 times what you charge per minute on cam.

3x? is that all? we usually charged $450 for a 30 minute video....and to be honest, I never took a video that we said would be exclusive and re-edited into content or sent it to anyone else. To me that is dis-honest, and it is just as easy to shoot something again if it was good....instead of having that guilt that you lied to someone...some people don't come with that guilt though, which I kind of admire...but content for us is so easy to produce and so easy to re-shoot, that it is nothing

Your comparing Tabitha "a pro" with amateur stuff. plus my studio probably isn't as well equipped as yours. Im just using digital camcorders. And pricing on private content varies from request. 3x is gonna be just a strip show, and charging start at $5 a min. Now if they want specific detailed action, yes the prices goes up big time. "And the request that these people ask get pretty nasty. this is not countiing all the sex paraphenalia & clothing that sold. plus most of the time customers request are ussually the same over & over again, this is where editing clips help.
Ya I know it's not 100% honest. But the budget get tight and corner are cut.

If they ask for any sick shit or anything thats too difficult or expensive to produce (props) just refuse his script or tell him he has to modify it.
Some of them are just funny. I did a sneezing one for someone once I wasnt even naked. It was hilarious.
The one I got today is just walking around ass wiggling while getting undressed. Easy $$$.

Haha, oh ya absolutely, when I say studio, I'm refering to the other room in the house. :)
One rule of thumb Sabby, always only do what makes you comfortable, don't ever find yourself having to do a script you dislike, cause most of the time there just another guy right behind him in line with another new script request.
plus there are tricks learned over the years that alot of girls use.
an example would be anal, my old lady will never do anything anal, she hates it, but she's learned how to "make it look like it" thoughout the years, and it works.
I probably shouldn't be talking all this shit on here, cause I know it's gonna hit me back here in the future with all these wakos here...lol.

we did one about 2 years ago that involved about $1500 in bakery supplies and my wife sitting in a chair getting hit with pies and pudding type stuff for an hour...took me a week to get the supplies and a whole day to shoot it...I won't even tell you what we charged the guy
the problem isn't the sick shit, the problem is a wife that HATES to be told what to do or how to do it...hell, she hates doing cam shows just because so many guys wanna tell her what to do instead of letting her do it
