Here’s some more rah-rah, save-the-children, anti-porn horseshit from our friendly neighborhood halfwits on Capitol Hill. (http://www.eyeonadult.com/modules/xfsection/article.php?articleid=721)

No big surpise there. Polticians know that attacking porn is an easy way to get free press and interest groups to send them cash.

In Japan one can buy beer from the vending machine, on the street and Japanese don't have alcoholism problem.....

makes one wonder once again how much shit the politicians realy are?

The question is rhetorical.

I'm not sure how they would collect a tax like that. Assuming it was possible to collect the tax we would all have to raise our prices. The cost would be passed on to the consumer through a lack of any other options. 25% is a hell of alot of money...

The internet is NOT a safe place for children. I'm preaching to the choir here but it still annoys me.

Yer exactly right, Bishop. That's why I pointed out that it will not only affect folks in the industry, but also the consumer. All said and done, I don't think it'll make it through. It's excessive, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a 10% tax make it through.

Well the internet is not safe for unsupervised children. It's plenty safe for kids who are lucky enough to have parents that love them, give a damn, and particiapate in their lives.

Peches, this is crap....
with all "acceleration" they are still the lowest alcohol consumers in the world. I haven't seen a SINGLE drunk in Japan, except Tokyo, where 2 drunk executives had shown their drunkiness by starting conversation with us in English.

The way this article is scewed is:
if I jerk off 2 times a month and the next month I jerk off 3 times - the increase is a whoapping 50% a month.

Exactly...I've been there and I haven't seen wasted people, I haven't seen pan handlers, and their alcohol is 18%...I just had a bottle of unfiltered sake yesterday. Very strong! My wife raped me afterwards

I was just looking at articles that I had read based on my personal experience with alcohol being a problem there. I can find you more if you'd like. Don't shoot the messenger. ;)

Peaches, knowing your personal story, I'll stop talking about the subject. We don't have to agree on everything and I'd rather stop than keep on going on the unpleasant road.
