View Full Version : I sent my laptop back because of a defective motherboard and they sent me a new one
how cool is that? same model, but a brand spanking new laptop, or refurbished rather
I am happy about it too, cause I trashed that last one
$244 to send it back to fix the problem because it was out of warranty, but they just sent me a completely different one, but better because it is all clean and shit

I would do a search on google like that
my emachines had horrible overheating problems since I bought it, and now that I sent it back and it came back almost brand new, I have not had one bit of trouble....I found a great little community of people with my laptop that discuss trouble and home solutions instead of paying out of warranty costs
I just finally broke down and sent mine back....

I've been using Toshiba Satellite laptops for the past 2 years now, the last model I had was horrible, nothing but probs had to send it in 3 times in 4 months for the same probs (overheating, and memory loss were the biggest ones)
So far the last month with the newest model has been great, and I may keep with Toshiba afterall.
