and the next thing we will hear about you will be on CNN....

(in a hillbilly voice) "well, he was a quiet guy... kept to himself. smart fellow. he always seemed pretty nice... can't believe he cut up those young girls and burried them under his garage and was actually eating their organs for breakfast"

As a kid, I always thought God's name was Howard.

"Our Father, who art in heaven, Howard be thy name"

I think its a rather apt reflection of the individual, frankly.

Once you have explained why it is again that I am supposed to care what you think of me, maybe I'll start listening.

Until then...

People who don't care don't bother defending themselves, bye bye :waving:

Well, *smiles* You obviously cared enough about me & what I say & do on a night when I've had a very long day, too much coffee, and not enough sleep, to spend the last hour or so, ripping into me for "fun" and refusing to think for a second that perhaps there are other circumstances going on in my life...

But no... couldn't possibly be that... after all I'm only 23 and must not have a life and am stupid & don't want to think.... that about sums your perspective up, right? And why should you possibly care? *laughs* After all, whatever is on the board on ONE evening, must be simply all there is to the person.

Now, which one of us didn't want to think again?

Come on, you couldn't possibly have an excuse for thinking there are Jews in Israel.

I believe I already explained where the misunderstanding came from, in the other thread, I provided a link to the article which I had a "vague recollection" of from back when the Hamas election & victory took place, and it was a vague recollection because frankly I don't care.

I got mixed up between Iran, Islam, Palestine, Israel, there's so fucking many of them over there & there's so fucking much conflict going on over there, that I really can't be bothered to try to keep track of which country is doing what at which point. The article I linked to in the end, I just knew that there was a controversy with one of the countries and the jews, during the holocaust.... leading (or continuing, rather) to the controversy & issues the two countries are having today.

Yes it is late and yes I fucked up and yes I also edited my own self-admitted stupidity before this all started. I am human, I make mistakes late at night with fuzzy memories of issues that to me, don't really matter. Clearly that must simply mean I'm stupid in general, according to you lot.

Personally I think being able to acknowledge, admit to, and learn from even a rather irrelevant mistake (such as this one) is far less "weak" or "stupid" than simply pretending one never made a mistake or has never made mistakes ever.

Ive made it a personal rule to never discuss politics on Oprano after seeing what happened to the bartender at the Bada Bing.

Maybe what your seeing here is one of them new fangled internet courtship methods?

Maybe what your seeing here is one of them new fangled internet courtship methods?nahhhh, don't think that's it. If that were the case reading this evening's "discussions" wouldn't have left me feeling the need to apologize on behalf of the members of my gender. :hmm:
