What many might consider a boring read, a book about taxes, is quite enjoyable. I would LOVE to see this tax system implemented. Here's the amazon link or their site.

I can only recomend
"The last true story I'll ever tell" by John Crawford, the acount of the Floridian boy who spent over a year in Iraq. Good read, MikeAI.

Funny thing, from what I'm reading I proposed a somewhat similar income tax structure with some different approachesHERE ON OPRANO about 3 years ago,

I wanted to tie the national sales tax rate to the national budget so there never was a deficit or surplus - that would make DC even more interesting

That's an interesting idea to be sure.
