InternetNZ is rubbishing a proposal by Australia's Labor Party to force internet service providers to block access to websites with R-rated content.
Australian Opposition leader Kim Beazley announced the policy last week, which would ban ISPs from letting customers access websites hosted overseas if they contained graphic sexual or violent material.
Customers would be able to access such sites only if they contacted their ISP and asked for the block to be removed.

I thought this was all resolved a few years back or was that just in regard to hosting? Anyone remember?
