You can buy dependable traffic from Adwords at google.com or from Overture.com for yahoo. Be careful as this traffic starts at 5 cents a click and adds up fast.

Instead of buying why not create a free profile at xpeeps.com and join Carol Cox or our own Squirting Carly there and recieve FREE traffic from surfers that are searchng for porn.

If you do make a profile there add me as an Xpeep and I will put you in my top 8 friends so you can get some starter traffic to your profile.

If you dont have an xpeeps profile you are missing out. It doesnt matter if you have a website, a program, a TGP, a phone sex number or even a resource board. Xpeeps has business for everyone even it its just to make new freinds and network.

Choker sells crappy traffic.

TGP's are starting to die, running more and more crap traffic through - buying chinese traffic to keep clicks going.

Compared to SE traffic I disagree.

I think Gonzo is right. I think you need to be clever in working the SE traffic these days. I saw it work great for my non-adult business. Now I'll do the research and figure out how to make it work for my adult business.

I can't tell you how much money I wasted on useless traffic. I don't any more.

I also agree with Gonzo on networking not only with others in the industry but the types of subscribers you're after.

Theres so much useless traffic these days and whats more disgusting are those that prop it up and refer people to it like this sig whore for Choker.

I wonder how much of it he has bought himself.
And Mike AI is right I saw the results from those traffic buys. Worthless.

I have used traffic from choker many times in the past...ALL it is good for, is generic feeder traffic to get a tgp off the ground, and it BARELY does that

on a side note....anyone know if xpeeps.com comes up as a wierd referral url? I know tabitha's site is getting mad traffic from it, but I can not find xpeeps.com in the referrals anywhere....it is very strange

I think you should put all this on paper. "I'm Dead Serious !"
I believe you know alot more than the average "Joe Shmoe traffic seeker" from what I've read in forums.
Myself? All I've had are bad experiences and lost cash with the world famous SE's, this is why I bitch & knock'em.

So whats up ?

SE work for the adult business is complex and expensive.

I love hearing that xPeeps is throwing some traffic.. I can't wait to see how much it is going to throw in six months or a year.

Lily.. for your site I would suggest personal marketing techniques like using xPeeps. Work the surfers and make some friends.. make the men fall in love with you then upsell them.

Search engines.. You can buy very targeted traffic from the search engines and do well but there is a learning curve and it can be costly to figure out how to master it. If you do figure the engines out it is a perpetual traffic pump that you know precisely what your profit margins are. Doing organic search engine work is a whole other problem and you may do very well for awhile then completely fall off the map.

Buying bulk traffic.. bulk traffic comes from sites where everything is free. This traffic is much less likely to buy anything because they already know how to get they need to get off without paying for it. If your going to work the angles on bulk traffic I suggest you build galleries yourself and submit them instead of buying the traffic. Buying the traffic is not cheap and while you will get a ton of it your going to be dealing with the same sort of learning curve as the engines. If you get the formula right then you can make money.. other companies do it. The profit margins are small on bulk traffic.

Starting out the absolute best way to generate traffic is by not paying for it. I think the goal is to be a well rounded webmaster.. its not reasonable to expect your going to be really good at buying traffic if you don't understand how to get it for free. It is more difficult today than in years past but it can be done. If your willing to invest the time your probably going to have grand success in the years to come. Throwing money at a problem is the last action not the first.

I have been working with my wife's site for almost 5 years now, and I can vouche for this. The #1 thing you can do to get new members, is interact with them. Get on xpeeps.com and make them feel like they are your only "buddy" on there.

to be honest, I am not sure...but I am going to find out this week

all this time I have just had a hard link to our site up there....but I am actually going in right now and changing all the hard links to tracking links

as far as profiles and shit, I personally am fine with everything the way it is, I have not had any problems with much except for not being able to access the site because of database errors..LOL..

i am testing the tracking....for some reason it is giving me a "blank/no referrer" from xpeeps when I hard link, and I think it might also be doing it with the nscash code, through the nscash server also

Database errors? Damn it - that guy in the bar told me MS Access would be able to handle the load. Maybe we'll switch to Excel flat files.

you know, it is funny...when I added the tracking code it now tracks the referrer in my stats on tabithastoybox, as long as it routes through the nscash server first...but when I do a hard link on xpeeps to tabithastoybox, xpeeps never shows up in the referrer logs

So it shows in the raw web server logs, but not when parsed by your stats software? Is there any kind of filter set up? We do run through a load balancer, so it might think it's running through a proxy or something.

that very well may be it

I use www.cnstats.com and when I hard link directly to tabithastoybox is shows up as blank/no referrer in the stats, but the server logs show xpeeps.

but when I set up the the nscash tracking code, it is showing up in the nscash admin and in cnstats now

So, i guess everything is fine now that it is showing up with the nscash code in there, I wanted to track it full anyway

Awesome. After the few days, let me know if we can arrange anything to help you and others deliver traffic. I want the site to be as biz friendly as possible, of course without jamming up the usability..

There's a couple of new features rolling out next week (I hope) that will help.
