How do you estimate the value of a domain?
And if you find a buyer which 3rd party service do you use?

I have a bidding war between 2 guys for one of my secondary domains.
It was never even advertised for sale but now the numbers are getting high enough that Id let it go.

I mean really 50K for a domain name....

Anyone else thats had experience with name sales is welcome to chime in.

well I ask about an old domain I had but did not renew. No traffic and not that great a name. They wanted 1900.00 and I seriously don't know why.
I paid 250.00 for goddesscash.com where I will promote my new venues.

If I don't sell maturesexkittens.com I'll just build another site.

But I love this topic and thank you for post it. Hopefully we will get valuable info.

Reminds me of the fucknut running around calling himself name critic.
I guess there is no real accurate way of doing it.

Upon further investigation Im probably going to finalize the transaction thru escrow.com

They dont make a living off of domain names.

You can buy software on eBay for $2.95 (plus $30 shipping and handling) that will analyze your domain name ... :) :whistling

Ahahaha. I think we've found out
1.The value of a domain is what someone is willing to pay for it.
2. Make sure to get a sales agreement in writing and signed before initiating the transfer
3. If at all possibile have a 3rd party hold the cash until both parties sign off on the sale.

Thanks to Slav for his consel!

and don't use Epassporte for p2p transactions. Use Pay Pal or a damn credit card. Hard lesson.

I try not to use epassporte for anything..in fact, I think I have only used them 3 or 4 times total

I can see the benefit of it and the downside. The benefit is that no one can chargeback yet the downside is that you’re not protected from purchases and I think each transaction needs to be weighed wisely.

I see where webmasters would want to get paid this way. After all the money is there and without question.

Or you deal with companies you know you’ll get paid from…

Thank you AEBN, VS Media and the like.

If I lived out of the country I would be using epassporte like crazy

my problem with them is that they charge you to do ANYTHING....the load fees alone are insane...and I love how they issued really shitty cards when they first opened and people are complaining that they are bad quality and falling apart...so what does epassporte do, they tell customers that the shitty card that was issued in the first place will be $35 to replace....even though it was their fault

I will stick with my paypal ;)
