its been about a year since I did anything in the adult industry, so I've really noticed that in that time ....

NOTHING HAS FUCKING CHANGED!!!!

i thought there was going to be consolidating, cleaning up, more professionalism etc?

is that still coming?

If anything, it appears to have gotten even messier in the past year ... its like everyone is sitting around waiting for internet porn to bounce back, while the rest of the digital technology world is picking up the business and running with it.

I did that. Actually I took 2 years off.



I don't see many changes. New players, some people gone. Some people you’re glad took an exit.



I think new models will appear & I know that the surfer is wiser now so webmaster have to be smarter. Lol- well at least knows what the surfer wants.



Some successful sites I see are clips for sales and pay per view.



It will ramp up soon. Speeds are faster and cheaper. Still waiting for it all the hit TV.

yeah pay per view stuff and mobile phones seem to be 2 main areas that will continue to evolve ...

I have really started to notice the magazine companies getting a hold on their customers again ... using their mags to advertise their digital technologies. and because they have trusted brands, surfers are starting to download their porn from companies they know.

I just wrote a few pieces about surfing porn safely, ie avoiding the evil self installing shit. I went surfing through a few porn sites recently only to end up being bombarded with so much shit I closed my browser and started working my way through the list of old skool smut peddlers - playboy, penthouse, maxim etc.

Surfers are learning to fear porn sites ... not a good sign for the future!

I think there's more consolidation, some new companies have come in and completely made some of the older companies look like dinosaurs, lots of people seem to be changing from company to company more frequently.

I think there's going to be a lot more consolidation, I think you're going to see some of the older companies who've made their millions close up shop/sell out and I think you'll see fewer employees as companies realize a lot of them are overstaffed.

hate is a strong word... I'm sorrry. Yes, if I could get my goats and dogs out without locking them away for 3 months, I probably would.

But Costa Rica is closer so maybe I'll go there. Never know! wanna come?
