Hey all,
I have been working on a chat program for the last couple years and would like any feedback anyone wants to provide.
I have built the chat in PERL and have made it so that webmasters can simple add a room name of their choice and have the HTML code they need to use on their sites generated.
You can check out the chat app at http://chatfixxx.com (http://chatfixxx.com/) and the room creation utility at http://newroom.chatfixxx.com (http://newroom.chatfixxx.com/)
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Dan

Yes you did. And what do you need a email address for to log in?
How much revenue do you get off of those banners?

No I didnt and if you take a look at ALL the posts I have made there is nothing even close to what I posted today !!!
Also you dont NEEEEEED an email address to log in that is a feature users can use if they would like to have their email address appended to their nick name in the chat !
If they do enter an email address then chaters can click on the name of the person and an outlook email composition window will open allowing them to email the person.
Quote me the post I made last week that DOESNT exist I dare ya !
Oh and for the revenue off the banner(s) ? I have one banner in the chat and its for a hosting company that I own and operate. The plan is to put all sorts of banners in there if the chat application takes off.
The free version for webmasters will have a mix of my banners and the webmasters banners. If the webmaster would like to have the chat script for use on their site without it being hosted by me and have only their own banners displayed then ill work out a fee for the script and put together a license etc.
However im just trying to get this thing off the ground so thats all to come in the future depending on interest.

Pull back on the attiude jack ass.
You posted it in 2 forums identical spam. And I deleted both of them which is why you cant find them.
Why would I use your script instead of downloading one for free and installing it? Your about 5 years too late.

I'd say your the one with the attitude my friend.
I have not posted anything in regards to this application in close to two years.
and hey if you want to download a free app to use on your site so be it if what I wrote doesnt appeal to you thats ok I really dont have any issues with that.
5 Years too late or not I still wrote something that I think people can enjoy and hey if there is an interest then great if not then at least I had fun writting up the code.
