How rehabilitating to admit I get yet another year of chattering American Idol rubbish on the boards.

For those that are following, I ordered a hit contract on "Brenna". She is so trying to be Mikala from season 4. She is so annoying and needs voted off quickly.

The women made a strong showing last night and 7 of the 12 were good.

Of the good, there are about 4 that will give the guys a run for their money.

However, I think the men are going to dominate the season this year.

Not a reality show I ever really got into. Watched one or two of the tryouts this year as they can be hilarious and I was taping them for someone, but won't watch much else. Now, you wanna talk Dancing With the Stars or Survivor I'll be happy to do so! :okthumb:

This thread reminds me to setup my DVR to record tonight's and tomorrow's show as I will be out on the town!!!

YO Gonzo, I been living the life of full retirement and have not worked in many many months.....

Spending most of my time in my workshop and have acquired the love of trim carpentry, flooring and renovation.....not to mention interior design.

You know how that goes, once I do a fancy wainscoting, friends want it done in their house, so I oblige.

So I spend my time in paints, primers, glazes, stains, urethanes, caulk, and eat a steady diet of sawdust.

I have enjoyed the learning curves of router tables, drill presses, bandsaws, mitre saws, scroll saws....and I check email once a week otherwise computer is off.

The above is all true.

Having said that................

In all honesty, I am under consideration by both the Veterans Administration as well as Social Security for full disability. I am still very much waiting in a very cumbersome process and have not had the decisions ruled on yet.

There is NO question I will prevail, it is just a matter of when...it could be in 2 months, it could be in 2 years before they are granted. I started these claims back in August.

It was not my idea, it was the VA, and my Doctors also felt I should go for this so I get it out of the way, never have to worry about a job, and as I near 50 in the fall, it is time to "fuck Off" for the back end of my life :-)

Plus, fishing season starts for me March 1st, and I love being on the water every day, we have 2 boats, and 30 seconds from intercoastal way, and our boat is on our lift on our dock...so it is not a pain in the ass to take off every day.

So that is where I been, and I have found life outside of the adult industry, and took my "has been" ass into a real life direction, and have no regrets.

I'm glad Becky got booted tonight; there were girls worse than her but truly, with a Fear Factor episode and a Maxim photo shoot under her belt, plus a freaking twin, she doesn't need this half as bad as some of those other girls. Simon nailed it when he told her she'll have a very good career in modeling.

Ace... yummy. And Chris... puuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I like Taylor too. You can tell he really loves what he's doing. I'm hoping the votes stick with him and he doesn't get booted just because of his salt/pepper hair.

who were the first 2 out of 12 girls voted out?

LeeNoga

Becky and Stevie were the first to go...even tho Brenna needs to go as well. She rubs me worse than Serge ever did!

I was rather surprised Patrick was eliminated when Kevin [16 yo. lisp dork looking] should have been the one. I am not saying the lisp is the problem, his range is limited and no better than a wedding singer..so why move on to the next round? Patrick picked a bad song and shame on him especially with 4 previous seasons to go to school on....

I mean it irks me how some of them did not learn anything from the previous seasons...and opt to be conservative...when AMERICA is voting!

The guys are impressive, Elliot is the one to beat, and of course Ace is a hottie, Chris has some pipes, Taylor has the soul and Sway has the urban thing nailed. Love them all!

But, the girls are great but not as stand out as the men, I believe a male will win 2006.

Hello to everyone, much love Confucy!

Good luck on your fight with the VA Lee!! :okthumb:

Thanks Babe, and I have done all the tests, evals and pow wow's, just waiting on a ruling for 100% unemployability with the VA.....I have one more eval with the SSN disability and wait for their ruling....

There is NO question I will win, I am not trying to get over on the Gov't, but my disease does not allow me to be reliable in a set schedule get up and go to work between a time frame....

Working from home was great because nobody knew I had a problem, it could be concealed, I limited my travel...and it was a good balance.

But, after so many years in adult...the business has changed and belongs to the up and comers who worked on arriving and have landed....I accept, the "has been" status, and equally admit I found myself bored in the business.

It does not have the acceleration it did during the founding times, seems rather robotic now, and alot of work to hold onto margins. Of course this is not true for everyone and I am merely generalizing.

What it was "then" is not what it is "now", and my generation of folk have all but faded away...and moved on to other things...need something new, exciting, to entertain me. Who ever thought it would be a workshop.

SO this VA/SSN disability thang' better work out! LOL.....it will, no doubt.
