As some of you know, Katie and I are heading to France in may for 3 weeks.

We are spending 2 weeks in Paris ( of course we will do day trips to Normandy, Boradeaux, etc...) but we want to spend 3-4 days in Amsterdam.

Travelin from Paris to Amsterdam - is it best to fly? take a train? Or drive? It would be nice to see countryside, maybe spend a day or 2 in Belgium as well.

Any suggestions would be great. We also need to return back to Paris to fly back home.

Very flat.. a bit boring to drive, but not worth flying.
You can take the eurostar train Paris-Brussels.. takes no time at all.
And Brussels - Amsterdam is only a few hours aswell.

Brugge is nice if you're planning a few days in Belgium, but transport to there isn't that good, so hire a car in Brussles and drive.

IT'll take yyou 5-6 hours to drive.

Train only a few, i think there's a high speed rail between Paris and Amsterdam.

Flying sucks b/c you have to checkin 1 - 2 hours before departure. And the baggage claim in Amsterdam is a bitch :)

Train is the best

I recommend a day trip to Nijmegan or Apeldoorn.

Better let Katie do the talking Mike.. you might get annoyed with the Frenchies and taunt them about their success in wars and have them end up giving you wrong directions or something.. ;)
