When we were in San Jose we had an opportunity to go see it. CORTEO

It is the best traveling Cirque show ever. I beleive it competes with O and Ka.

Great story, lots of laughs, fantastic music and performers. I believe they set the bar higher with this show.

It will be in DC eventually.

Have anybody seen Varekai?

Much thanks Mike
Corteo is playing in New York from April 25 to June 18, we will probably take a few days to see it there and (as I hang my head in shame) see Lestat on Broadway

Very much looking forward to it, Corteo looks very interesting with the clown's story

Serge, I've seen Varekai twice, in DC and Baltimore
It might be my favorite Cirque show so far
"The word varekai means "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. "

Really can't even try to describe it but the first time I saw it was breathtaking
I see it is in Miami Jan. 20 to Feb. 26, if you can see it

Your welcome,
Hope you enjoy it
and ....

Wine is served at Cirque ;-)

Nothing exceptional, as I can't recall exactly what it was
We had the Merlot and it was ok

I won';t touch their wines, I have friends from NY visiting and every day I plan serving them the same varietal, the same vintage year but from
1) New World
2) Old World
side by side for comparission!

For example...did you know that Pinot Noir and red Burgundy are made of the same grape?
;)

Serge, I did not and the comparison sounds interesting and thought provoking

I try to serve my friends

Don't care what it does for their palettes, just to their minds
Which explains why I have so few friends

Funny you mention Lestat. It was playing in SF when we were in town, we walked past theatre. Looked pretty gay. The title had, Sotry from Anne Rice, music from Elton John.

:whistling

AS far as whites go, we have recently discovered chilean and hungarian white wines. we like them.
