Pulse - http://www.apple.com/trailers/weinstein/pulse/

Looks like a "hip" version of the recent White Noise for the younger people. Still could be an enjoyable suspense type movie. Not surprisingly it is being put out by Dimension Films.

Ultraviolet - http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/ultraviolet/

Futuristic sci-fi movie with Milla Jovovich as a super soldier created by the government who now wants to wipe out the last of the soldiers they created. The fight scenes look quite good and Milla is never bad to look at. :>)

Brick - http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/brick/

Ok, this was a big winner at Sundance and looks to be a VERY interesting thriller. High school kid trying to track downa female friend of his that dissappears.

Night Watch - http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/night_watch/

Bills itself as the first of an epic horror trilogy. centered around an ancient battle between the forces of good and evil that have ben under a truce for centuries and starts up again Looks very X-Menish with the powers and such that the sides have but much darker.

Tamara http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/tamara/

Looks like a typical horror flick. Geeky girl gets picked on and dies because of a prank. Comes back very much seeming alive to get revenge.

See No Evil - http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/seenoevil/

I know Sykk will see this movie! Geregory Dark as the director with WWE superstar Kane as the main bad guy in a horror flick.

Silent Hill - http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/silenthill/

I do believe this is a movie adaptation of a popular survival horror game for the Playstation. It was a really creepy game and the trailer makes this one look like it could be very good.

Night Watch and Tamara are really high on my mustsee list, but I admit to liking the See No Evil trailer...it looks like a typical slasher in the house movie, but that's not always a bad thing for me ;)

I'm also really wanting to see Ultraviolet. For some reason Pulse just isn't grabbing me like it should. I enjoyed White Noise for what it was (though I felt like they could have done much more with the story).

Yeah.. I can enjoy the "typical" horror flicks for what they are to be sure. :>)) Did you watch the Silent Hill trailer? I think you'd like it quite a bit as well as others who like any type of horror flicks. Also I am quite intruigued by the Brick trailer. Looks to be a very interesting movie. I thought Milla Jovovich looked prety good in both Residnet Evil movies but she looks incredible in Ultraviolet. I wonder if that is an "orginal" concept or if it is a comic book/graphic novel adaptation?

Ultraviolet is an original from Kurt Wimmer, who directed the kickass Equilibrium (you'll love that flick)

Silent Hill looks ok, but horror-themed video game adaptations have been pretty lame of late...if it comes out with an R rating, I'll go see it, if they puss out and tone iit down to a PG13, I'll wait for it come out on DVD...

Oh.. and I almost forgot to include The Omen which is a remake of The Omen from back in the 70's or 80's and was the first movie of a trilogy about the son of satan here on earth http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/theomen/ Needless to say it premeires on the 6th day of the 6th month of the 6th year of the new century. I actually have the old trilogy on tape somewhere around the house I do believe.

The Omen was one of the first movies to really scare the shit out of me...I really fear the remake, but for different reasons, especially if they go the PG13 route.

Yeah.. my favorite of the Omen trilogy was the second one actually. But you are right in that the remake could be really bad. They really should go with an R rating style movie but I fear a PG-13 is gonna end up what it gets.

The second was better acted, but the first just had so many memorable scenes: the nanny, the dogs in the cemetary, the priest in the storm and the plate glass incident all come to mind...
