I can't get it....whatever virus has attached itself to my system has won....I have used Norton, Spybot, Adaware, Panda AntiVirus, Microsoft Spyware, Mcafee, AVG and Avast!, NOTHING has caught it....there was a lot found, but not the virus causing my software to mysteriously shut down on it's own

it is to the point now where Firefox is the ONLY thing that will stay open for any length of time....some programs won't even open anymore

SO, after I back all this data up to one of my externals, I will be formatting

I ran every single tool known to man, I even ran a few new ones before I formatted...and nothing

plus, the kama sutra thingy starts today, mine has been going on for a few days

all is well though, the format and reinstall took like 20 minutes...and on top of that, while I was waiting I ran up to Monarch Computer and grabbed another 1gb of dual channel ram for my machine

so now I have a fresh install and I am FLYING!!!! haha

is software just shutting down on it's own? and any time you try and run a antivirus it shuts down too?

do this, go to start>run and type regedit

let that open up and see if it closes on it's own, if it does, you have the same thing I had....and I have dealt with shit like this before, but nothing this crazy....2 days of safe mode and antivirus runs, I finally gave up, it won
