What if a certain very WELL known porn girl ripped me off for about $2000 in April of 2004....so I still have the right to be bitter and trash her?

I didn't come forward then because she was dating a friend of mine, but they aren't dating anymore and I would love for this shit to come to light, because apparently I am not the first person that she did this shit to

i am thinking of doing something really bitter here...I am thinking about taking my search engine skills and setting up a "___ ____ ripped me off" page and having it climb to the top of the search engines for her search results

never try to slam someone in front of your peers. it always comes off as petty, childish and spiteful. you will look bad in the end

let it go.

be professional and write it off or take her to small claims court.

i am trying to help you. be professional, write it off and forget about it. sometimes the things you don't do, say more about who you are than the things you do.

Ijust don't believe that in this case....if every followed by your rules here, then people would be getting ripped off left and right because no one would do anything about it, and everything would just be "let go"

it just seems silly, with me running a business, to let a $2000 debt just "go"

I'll be blunt....how would you call a person who uses his skills for revenge instead of making money?

English is my second language, so I am at disadvantage, as I can only think of
"Fucking Idiot",
and I am sure there are other words shorter than that.

yeah, that was just a thought, I decided against that

I am going to go about this the legal way, starting first with a very nice professional letter to her to see if we can resolve this peacefully

You'd have to file it there IF it is allowed. California's laws are inconsistent with the rest of the states to say the least, so I have no idea whether you can do it there. Some states allow it, some dont.

In Georgia, small claims must be filed with the magistrate court in the county where the defendent lives. Or if you're suing a corporation it must be in the county where the corp is registered.

well, to be honest, because of the personal involvement it is a little of both....you can't say that in your life you have never had anything like this happen? Here, how is this for the people who can't follow along....I took it personal that someone I knew would rip my business off

So lemme see if I got this straight.

Somebody ripped you off 20 months ago, and you are wondering if you should bring it to the boards NOW?

I like my friends, and I am very loyal to them - but my business is not going to buy them $2,000 worth of blowjobs.

You made your mistake in not dealing with this one 18 months ago or so.

This is dead, buried, and an exhumation will serve no purpose.

ok... so, a recap so we can all see inside my retarded little mind.

1) it was ok at the time because your buddy was fucking her
2) 2 years later, "its business" and you fail to understand why no one "gets it"
3) you finally admit its "personal" and not "business"

shit happens. of course stuff like that has happened to me. so what? children cry, roses die, little puppies get hit while playing on busy streets. life goes on.

if you can't recover the money, then you are just being childish and immature and lashing out like a 14yr old thinking he is acting like an adult... which is not the behavior that anyone who might do business with you would appreciate seeing.

the boards? no one ever said that, and if I did I apologize....I don't usually do board drama, it gets no where and no one really ever cares

like I said previously, I am just going to write her a nice professional letter and see how she responds.

i actually just came on here asking for advice dude, stop getting your panties in a bunch over it.

It was always business that I had a little personal involvement in because one of my best friends in the entire world was in love with the girl...it is one thing if a buddy is fucking her, but my best friend was head over heals in love with her and she broke his heart....WAY different

How am I being childish asking for advice? I never lashed out against her, EVER...even after it happened.....I thought I was acting pretty civil asking other adult for advice on a matter that probably should have been dead, but I have a stubborn mind.

jesus you all, I didn't even do anything and you act like I am board whoring trashing her name and writing articles on cnn.com about what she did....LOL

Jace, if your intention is attempt to collect the debt in a business like manner, then I also misunderstood your original post. Like some others I thought you were wondering if you should bring it to the boards. "... trash her" you said.

Try a letter from your attorney, small claims might be tough due the amount and the different states, and most other methods through the courts might cost more than the whole matter is worth.

Serge, as usual, has very good advice.

I have been running a cam studio for 3 years and durring that time every cam girl I have hired (except for 1 and she is still with me) has stolen from me.

I just chalked it all up to the cost of running my business and reason why I couldnt pay them anymore than I did. I still turned a profit.

It's always just best to get these people out of your life before they can do you any more damage. And believe me they can. Is recouping $2k (which you probably will never get back anyway) worth all the trouble after 2 years? Or are you and your buddy who is in love with her just looking for a reason to keep her in your lives? Let it go! You probably both got off cheap.

After one of the girls was murdered in November by one of her friends who could have just as easily shown up one day at MY door (had she been here), it freaked me out so much and I realized just how much danger I had put myself in. It just isnt worth it and I moved on to do other things.

I would much rather be the talent than have to deal with it.
