I'll be there Joe. My first Phoenix Forum in 4 years.
I have been away from it too long. I hear it has grown considerably since my last trip.

I fear Phoenix Forum is gonna outgrow Phoenix. But I also fear it wont be the same show that everyone raves about if it grows too large. I think it's gonna be huge this year, I'll be interested to see how they handle the growth.
My own fault for not commiting to it early, but inability to stay in the main hotel for a small-ish show like this definitely kills my interest in going. I may re-consider, but having to drive, cab or stagger home after partying does not appeal to me at all.

Ok, so what is there to do other than drink, go to titty bars and play golf?

I had a couple of hiking trips up the mountains (I was assured they weren't "up the mountains" like my house - more of a leisurely walk) scheduled last year. And Gabe knows some very good hidden foodie places around town :)
I signed up and have hotel reservations at the Marriott Courtyard which is supposedly less than 2 blocks down the road with many people staying there. I haven't committed as far as a plane ticket though.....I would be going to see people, not do biz.

Phoenix is enjoyable, even if you don't have any business to do. I was at the very first one (anyone remember Big Bear?) There were a lot of 'ole timers there. I have been to everyone and watched it grow. The only drawback as it has growen is that it is harder to find those you might want to see. There are a lot of offsite activities that people find to occupy their time.
If you have never been, don't forget a jacket or raincoat. It is the desert, but it is still wintertime, and it does rain there.
I wonder if the craft show that was there last year, is going to be there again?
Anyone know?
