I don't have the article in front of me but I thought it was such a waste of money and basically a scam. Mike you probably won't think so because you're a hunter or maybe when you hear this you might...

The hired sharp shooters and paid $80K for them to kill deer. This was only over a short period of time. They were a nusance.

Meanwhile if they thought about enlisting a few animal right groups and spent a little time on a new program to trap and inject birth control it would curb the population and wouldn't cost as much over time. Still enough deer for hunters and not wasted money slaughtering animals.

Just my opinion anyhow.
