Ok, it's less than a week til the show and we have a lot of new/old faces around here, let's get a revised tally on who is going to the show?

I'm in on Friday and will be staying til Weds. Will be in business mode at the show, anyone wants to wheel and deal with Fat Fucking Cash, find me, I'll buy drinks and doughnuts.

I'm looking for traffic, content, design work, creative marketing partnership opportunities, and if I'm still as tired next week as I am this one I'm also looking to hire at least one more person.

After the show, i'm there for fun, anyone wants to hang out FFN style, hit me up.

Yes as we have the same sentiment , Hell Puppy, We are there looking forward to the good business discussions with people as well .

haha I just realized yesterday while writing my ittenerarry.

with both shows in town, I am not only on all the " must attend" internet party lists, I am also on several from the Video side of things.

And I might not make any of them, ( I hope to squeeze in at least one or two) but looks to be filled up and I am old and need to sleep from time to time so I am sharp the next day LOL

Boldy and I have a meeting in San Diego on Sunday, so we are leaving the Vegas show Saturday afternoon.

Nah, not going this year. Not real happy about the CES and the Video Show happening at the same time. Just really don't see the point ingoing. We don't have a bunch of webmasters that we need to get to send us traffic, we already have traffic and we sell it. Besides, I've got a bad feeling that it's going to be SWAMPED w/ non-industry fan-type people. The video show has people lining up for HOURS just to get a chance to see some "porn stars". How long do you think it'll take them to figure out there are "porn stars" over at the 'net show and significantly shorter lines? I heard that there are even tickets set aside for fans. InterNext was bad enough having to wade thru the thousands of newbs. Now there's going to be thousands of fans too?

Esh. I for one skipped the Florida show and will be skipping vegas. Instead I've been going to the smaller shows like Phoenix, San Diego, LA, Amsterdam, etc. I've found that all the people I want to talk to and do business with are there and it's a MUCH more relaxed settting.

End of InterNext? I doubt it. But I do think that this year there's going to be a HELL of a lot of bitching and complaining and I think that the smaller shows are going to get more and more popular. Which of course will make them bigger and bigger and less and less popular. Who knows. I'm feeling cynical these days. FUCK IT. It's new years eve, what the fuck am I doing here? I've gotta bottle of Jager waiting on me!

I'll have my FFN chaperones with me - I know whatever I do will be reported back to the boards immediately so I will be on my best behavior :whistling

A lot of people are bailing on Vegas this year because of the clash with the CES show and all the hubub with AVN show. Quite a few are going to the dominican, and yet others are just going to skip it and head to Phoenix and Miami... I am too busy for Vegas this year but I'd like to make some of the other shows.

I'm going to be very curious to see how it all turns out.

CES will definitely impact attendance, but I'm hoping a lot of the people it keeps away are people that it doesn't hurt to weed out anyway. If you've actively got business to do and are looking to network with a large number of people from the industry, this is the first really good chance to hit the masses since Florida. I think it'll have sufficient critical mass because there's a lot of businesses that cant afford not to go.

From my perspective, if I'm wrong, screw it, I still get to hang out in vegas a few days, that's why I'm staying after the show. If I dont do one dollar of business, I still come home happy.
