I set a date next tuesday for the laser thereapy to stop smoking. I did well on it the first time.
It's all in the commitment. My kids will remind me till they leave.

I've never made a new years resolution.
Maybe because I'm afraid I might not keep it.
I've never made a new years resolution.
Maybe because I'm afraid I might not keep it.
I'm the opposite
I never make New Years resolutions because I afraid I might keep them
I stopped making them years ago. I don't need to give myself added pressure. :)

I've resolved to make less resolutions and more hard realities happen :)

I want to drop 20 lbs from 190 to 170. Thats really my only personal goal.
Then I'll set some fiscal goals.

Every other year my only resolution was not to make any New Years resolutions! (And I always kept it, too!)
This year ... Think I'll make some. But need to give this a bit of thought first as I do find them useless if there's not a chance in hell. hehe

I always make New Year's Resolutions. One year I even wrote them down.
It helped emphasize the fact that they're always the *same* resolutions and they're never all that big or life changing.
The first one is always "this year, I'm not going to forget anyone's birthday/anniversary/important date." I always intend to send "real cards" that go through the mail...but end up sending e-cards a lot. I should reword that resolution. I don't "forget" anyone's day. (Too many calendars.) What I do is forget/neglect to do anything about it in time. This year, I'm going to word that resolution correctly. :)
The second one will be "stay on the Weight Watchers' diet."
I need to think up a third one. I'm certainly not silly enough to put "quit smoking" on the list. Even the health care nurse that calls me monthly thought that was a dumb idea. Lose weight first...then deal with the smoking.
