Ok. Nothing annoys me more than marketing that doesn't tell you all the information that you are supposed to get. I got an envelope form Party Poker with a oversized foam dice and two pieces of paper. One paper was a standard sized piece of paper with Party poker logo and explanation of the new and exciting stuff PP has. The other is a smaller green colored one that talks about a "bonus offer" that has been extended to dec 25th. NOWHERE on either piece of paper does it tell you what the bonus offer is. Grrrrrrrr.

Hahahah.. no because this could be something that is only for certain players and may not be generally known on the site so if I deposited I might miss out on the bonus if I don't know it's something more than their standard bonus stuff. I could call and ask but that annoys me.

It might be worth the call to find out. Anytime I get something from an online casino through snail mail the bonus has always been good.

For an online poker thing it would seem to be a pretty accurate marketing tactic.

They're into gambling after all.

They're gambling that the people they send these to, will be curious enough (or annoyed enough) to visit the site to find out what the bonus offer is.

Lets face it, how much junk mail do we get where we see the offer prominently displayed right there, think "I don't need that" and chuck it in the garbage? You've obviously held onto these items for a start, and I suspect that the number of people who are curious about the offer will far outweigh the number of ppl who aren't.

And even if you don't, you've just come here & posted about it, providing further promotion in the sense that they're being talked about, they're on ppl's minds & tongues, and their name is getting out there even more.

Quite brilliant marketing, I'd say.
