Glad someone is finally standing up and saying enough is enough.

http://www.operationjustsaymerrychristmas.com/

I don't particularly like the religious overtones or how they're marketing it.... but its about time someone stood up and said that its OK just to say merry christmas.

It is NOT something meant to offend other religious groups or a negation of other holiday celebrations, But merely an affirmation of a person's OWN celebrations.

What can I say... As a fellow Catholic I feel it's politically incorrect to tell me what to say at this time of year, I'm the same whenever I'm being told that I'm not being sensitive to others, regardless of religion or celebrations... are "they" that are being "politically in-corrected" sensitive to my beliefs/likes/dislikes/celebrations/allergies/phobias...

Saying that though, I just had to buy Toni, Dan and myself a band... I think Dan's will need a clip on it though ;)

Wishing you all a Blessed Yule.

And a big :mf_tongue to this site.

Now, if the site had said "enough already with this politically correct horseshit, the holiday is called 'Christmas,' let's just say 'Merry Christmas' and get on with our day" I'd have gotten my husband a band. But "human sensiblities above our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"? Only the Catholics...geesh....

What I simply can't wrap my head around is why Christians would even WANT the extravaganza surrounding with this holiday associated with the birth of Christ.

Somehow, I don't think it would take three wise men to conclude that holiday has long ago been captured by the Martites (Walmart, K-mart, etc). The little fucking drummer boy is smart enough to know that there is no relationship between the birth of the Christ and selling electric razors.

Christmas is a christian holiday. If people don't like it, they don't need to celebrate it. Period!

The political correctness is getting so out of hand. I'm Jewish, but a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree, NOT a holiday tree. Christmas is the only holiday that has a tree, so why not call it that. Personally, if someone wishes me a Merry Christmas I am certainly not offended. I'll say happy holidays if I'm not sure of someone's religion, but I'll say Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukkah when appropriate.

This whole don't say Christmas is absolutely ridiculous.
